His daily report on a road protest stared back at him stubbornly, or should he say, "anti- road campaign". No...anti is just as negative as protest. He was writing up his daily report on a "pro-environment education and peaceful resistance campaign". No...that sounds so protest-y.

His natural propensity to see patterns where others don't led to some novel decryption and compression techniques, but he also speaks multiple languages adding a new one on a yearly basis.
