Above, a billion stars twinkled. Paths to a billion other homes winked and giggled at our innocence. The universe enveloped the two from above and listened. Above and beyond, the dance of infinity continued its rhythmic cycle in sympathy with the two. It pressed against them, urging them to go forward.
Above a story unfolded, as below. Above the God's looked on. They watched their children play. They watched the progenies create an existence that was ever a source of wonder. The Gods created man, but they did not understand him.

Above, the high visibility of the star cluster Pleiades shone brightly in the night sky. Around the globe its brightness has guaranteed it a special place in many cultures, both ancient and modern. According to the Seris (of northwestern Mexico), these stars are seven women who are giving birth. The constellation is known as Cmaamc, which is apparently an archaic plural of the noun cmaam "woman". To the Bronze Age people of Europe, such as the Celts, the Pleiades were associated with mourning and with funerals.
To the Lakota, the Pleiades were linked directly to the Devil’s Tower. This monolithic igneous intrusion of volcanic rock located in the Black Hills near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County, northeastern Wyoming, above the Belle Fourche River. It rises dramatically 386 m above the surrounding terrain and the summit is 1,558 m above sea level.

Each carried several cameras attached to their forehead and shoulders. These views alternated on screens above the one Dietrich was paying most attention to.
"I have no idea what I'm doing", boomed from a speaker hidden somewhere along the wall of screens.

She continued. "All's I know is I was contacted by an alien, and he was as real as you are now. So maybe he didn't exist and maybe you don't exist and maybe I don't exist and maybe I'm completely mad. Or I do exist. And if I exist and am not mad then I am real. And you are real. And that alien was real."

The A. muscaria hunt is literally a hunt. Pilgrims carry Marijuana gourds, a necessity for the journey's ritual.
Water gourds are often taken to transport water back from the Sídhe: The dwellings of fairies. Often the only food taken for the stay in the otherworld or Orbis alius. is dry brown bread.
The group, however, eat mushrooms while in the Otherworld. They must travel great distances. Today, much of the trek is done by Crossmotorbikes or helicopters , but formerly the natives walked some two hundred miles.
Upon arriving within sight of the sacred Dolman of Kil dara , the group are ritually washed and pray for rain and fertility. Amid the praying and chanting of the Druid, the dangerous crossing into the Otherworld begins.

Loki's relation with the gods varies by source. Loki sometimes assists the gods and sometimes causes problems for them. Loki is a shapeshifter and in separate incidents he appears in the form of a salmon, mare, seal, a fly, and possibly an elderly woman. Loki's positive relations with the gods end with his role in engineering the death of the god Baldr. Loki is eventually bound by the gods with the entrails of one of his sons.
